I am a Clinical Senior Lecturer and Consultant in Medical Oncology at the Barts Cancer Institute (QMUL) and St. Bartholomew’s Hospital.
I trained in London teaching hospitals, and was awarded a PhD degree in translational cancer medicine from the University of London. My post-doctoral work is focused on the role of abnormal My main clinical interests are in melanoma, lung cancer and mesothelioma, with a particular emphasis on targeted drugs and metabolic and immunotherapeutic approaches. I am a chief and principal investigator of novel anticancer drugs and am a member of several professional bodies, including London Cancer for which I am a clinical and research lead. I am involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate education with publications in Cancer Research, Clinical Cancer Research, Lancet Oncology and Journal of Clinical Oncology. My work has been presented at various international conferences with invited lectures in the US, Europe and Asia.
