I am a Consultant Haematologist in Myeloid Malignancies and Bone Marrow Transplantation. I lead the Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, Myelodysplasia and Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia Service at the Royal Free Hospital. My main academic and clinical interests focus on prognostication of Leukaemia, Bone Marrow Transplantation, Late Effects of chemotherapy/ Bone Marrow Transplantation, Fertility in recipients of chemotherapy and immunotherapy of haematological malignancies.
I am a member of the National Cancer Research Network (Former MRC) working party for AML and have published more than 70 papers in peer reviewed journals. I have always been an enthusiastic teacher and for the last 11 years is in charge of the Haematology teaching programme in undergraduate students at The Royal Free Campus Medical School.
