I am a Consultant Medical Oncologist and specialise in the treatment of early and advanced breast cancer. I have a keen research interest in the role of novel therapies for cancers. I spent four years as an AVON Clinical Research Fellow at the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research Centre investigating novel targets in familial breast cancer. I give regular lectures for the University of London and have been invited to speak at national conferences and international meetings. I have a first-class medical degree from Bonn University (Germany), and also studied at Lausanne (Switzerland) and at Barts and the London. I undertook my postgraduate and specialist training in London teaching hospitals including Barts, Hammersmith and St George’s. I am bilingual in English and German and converse in French.
