I qualified at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School (now part of Imperial) in 1990. Most of my training in Clinical Oncology was at Charing Cross Hospital and finished with clinical and research posts at The Royal Marsden Hospital.
I now specialise only in cancers of the thorax, lung cancers, mesothelioma and thymoma. I also have a specialist interest in metastatic disease from many primaries. I have a particular interest in high-tech radiotherapy treatments.
I am a Consultant at Guys and St Thomas NHS Trust and a honorary senior lecturer at Kings College Hospital. I am one of one founders of LOC.
Dr Landau is active in national lung cancer research having received funding for a number of national studies looking at radiotherapy in different roles and being a member of important strategic national committees.
