Treatment at LOC 

When you come to LOC as a patient, there is the initial consultation with the consultant oncologist, and then further discussions with our specialist nursing and pharmacy staff to brief you on what your treatment with us might entail. If radiotherapy is to be part of your treatment, this will be carried out in specialist facilities close to LOC. Chemotherapy and other drug treatment is delivered in our own uniquely designed treatment suite by our highly-trained team of specialist nurses. We carry out our own blood tests and analyse them in our on-site laboratory, to minimise delay in reporting back the results. Scans are carried out in nearby facilities using the latest equipment and supervised by specialist consultant radiologists with whom our own oncology consultants have worked over many years.
